Cherry Hill Vinyl Replacement: Before and After

Sample listing — replace with completed project.

Town: Cherry Hill, NJ  |  Material: Premium vinyl  |  Color: [VERIFY: project record]  |  Scope: Tear-off of faded vinyl, open-wall photo review, housewrap, kickout flashing, soffit and fascia

[PHOTO: open wall after tear-off — staining at roof-to-wall corner]

The old vinyl on this Cherry Hill colonial rippled in the afternoon sun — a classic sign the panels had been nailed tight instead of hung loose so they can expand and contract. The bigger find came at tear-off: a roof-to-wall corner with no kickout flashing (the small diverter that pushes roof water into the gutter), and staining in the sheathing right below it. The homeowner approved one sheet of sheathing repair at the written unit price, we added the kickout, wrapped the house, and hung the new panels centered in their nail slots with room to move. The soffit and fascia were replaced in the same visit, and the yard got a final magnet sweep for nails.

The closeout file includes the open-wall photos, the approved sheathing change order and the nail-slot close-ups from the new install — proof the panels are hung to move, not pinned to buckle. The same nailing standard applies on every vinyl job we run.
