About South Jersey Construction Consultants Inc.

SJCC exists because of what homeowners can’t see. Your siding fails — or quietly rots the wall behind it — in the layers nobody photographs: the sheathing, the housewrap, the flashing. Jim Bock founded this company to fix that, one documented job at a time, across 12 South Jersey towns.

Why Jim started this company

The short version: too many siding jobs in South Jersey are sold on the visible 10 percent — the color, the profile, the panel — while the hidden 90 percent gets skipped. Jim built SJCC around the opposite idea: document the hidden work, price it honestly, and let the photos do the selling.

The name is deliberate. “Consultants” because the first deliverable on every job is information: measurements, photos, a written scope, and straight answers — including “you don’t need us yet” when that is the truth. A homeowner who understands their own walls is our best customer, whether they sign this year or three years from now.

What we don’t do

We don’t cover old siding with new siding to win on price. We don’t quote “per month” numbers before you have seen the total. We don’t run fake discounts, knock on your door with a storm scare, or tell you what your insurance company will pay — that conversation is between you and your insurer, and our job is to document damage honestly. And we don’t ask for big money up front: payments follow completed milestones, the way New Jersey’s consumer protection rules expect VERIFY current NJ consumer fraud act rules with counsel.

We list only certifications that are current and verifiable. As credentials are earned or renewed, they will be named here with their issuing body: VERIFY: current manufacturer certifications (e.g., James Hardie, LP) before listing. We would rather show you our flashing photos than a logo wall.
